This high carbon steel trowel is a finishing trowel mainly used for knocking down trowel marks during the application process. It can be used for polishing as well. In case of a fine finish and veneers it may be used as an applicator, but it is not recommended for body coats.

This traditional trowel is made of a high carbon steel and is often used as an applicator for a body coat. It has a good ability to move plaster on the wall and even it. It lends itself great for finishes and for compressing plaster as well. The smaller sizes are an asset for the compression and pore closure when doing tadelakt. With time and practice you will find this trowel to be very versatile.
